UEFA Nations League Betting: GRE vs KOS & ESP vs CZE – 06/12/22

Today’s action features games from five different groups, including some of the top teams of the tournament in Group A2. Kosovo plays Greece for a second time in the group stage, looking to redeem their loss and take over the top spot in Group C2. Spain hopes to improve their current 1-0-2 record with a win over the Czech Republic to keep pace with top-seeded Portugal. This is the place to find everything, including team win odds, the over/under, and point spreads.

Moneyline: Greece @ -143

For the second time in this tournament, Greece takes on Kosovo to determine the top dog in Group C2. The last time the two teams met was on June 5, with Greece prevailing in a 1-0 final. In their last five meetings between the two teams, Kosovo has yet to defeat the mighty Greeks. They sit second in the group, three points behind Greece, but have scored five goals in their last two games.

Greece will be without the services of Dimitris Limnios, who unfortunately suffered a cruciate ligament rupture. The injury officially knocks the 24-year-old left winger out for the remainder of the tournament. He had eight goals in 32 matches in Eredivisie, the first-tier league in the Netherlands. Kosovo has some roster troubles too, as four players will miss the game due to injuries, and an additional three will miss today’s action due to yellow-card suspensions. Greece is the odds-on favourite and doesn’t look too risky to put some money on in today’s rematch.

Half-Time/Full-Time Lead: Greece-Greece (+175)

On June 5, a Tasos Bakasetas goal in the 36th minute was enough to put Greece ahead for good. They led the game in possession with 57%, but the shot attempts tipped in favour of Kosovo 11-10. The two teams match up quite well, but Greece tends to play a more-suffocating style of offense that will outwait any team’s defensive attempts before finding some open space to shoot.

The result could be more than just a one-goal game if Greece figures out a way to connect with their crosses. They completed just four of 21 attempts against Kosovo last game, good for 19%. It’s fairly safe to assume Greece will once again take an early lead in the first half and spend the remainder of the game defending well and holding Kosovo off.

Moneyline: Spain @ -350

With the sheer amount of talent on Spain’s roster, it’s a surprise to see they only have one win in their first three games of this tournament. That record could have included a loss against the Czech Republic had it not been for a 90th-minute tally from Iñigo Martínez. The Czech squad scored in the 4th minute of the first meeting between the two clubs, and a Kuchta goal in the 66th minute gave them their second lead of the game. While they ultimately failed to hold on for a win, they exited the encounter with a point.

Spain won’t be satisfied with just one win and two draws, and it’s almost a guarantee they’ll feel extra motivated to take down the Czechs. Despite the draw, Spain has not lost a game to the Czech Republic in their last six meetings. That will undoubtedly remain the same today, and we expect Spain to not only win the match but in grand fashion too.
