UEFA Nations League Betting: ENG vs HUN & GER vs ITA – 06/14/22

Today’s action features a total of 12 games from six different groups, including some of the top teams of this tournament going head-to-head. England will try to make some headway in Group A3 after starting the group stage with a 0-1-2 record. Meanwhile, Germany and Italy clash in a battle of the titans, with the winner taking over the top spot. This is the place to find everything, including team win odds, the over/under, and point spreads.

Moneyline: England @ -350

England’s tournament is off to a terrible start, losing to Hungary in the opener and drawing against Germany and Italy. They’ll have an opportunity at redemption today when they enter their rematch against the Hungarian squad. While they sit at the bottom of Group A3, England’s hopes of a top-two seeding are not out of reach. A win over Hungary paired with Germany failing to collect three points would put the Three Lions in a tie with Italy for the top spot.

Scoring just one goal in three games, England’s strikers will need to be in top shape if they hope to claim all three points. Harry Kane’s 50th international goal tied the game against Germany, earning one point in a draw. While they’ve been good defensively, allowing just two goals thus far, they need a better overall effort from top to bottom. A chance to put their rocky start behind them is plausible today, so take them to collect all three points.

Winner + Both Teams to Score: England-No (-120)

While we expect England will come out of today’s contest on top, we’re going to pair the win with both teams not scoring at least once. This means England will not allow a goal for the second consecutive game.

They looked excellent against Italy, out-possessing their opponents and getting the better end of scoring opportunities and total attacks on goal. That kind of effort will translate well against Hungary and earn them the victory they’ve searched for since the start of this tournament.

Moneyline: Germany @ -143

Like England, Germany has gotten off to a rather ho-hum start. They’ve drawn in all three matches thus far, scoring three goals but allowed three as well. German coach Hansi Flick can’t be satisfied with continuous 1-1 results, nor is he content with being the third seed in a competitive group. Against the Italians, Germany controlled the ball for most of the game but relied on a Kimmich tally in the 73rd minute to earn a draw. Serge Gnabry is back from a calf injury, and Antonio Rudiger will likely play after being rested. The shake-up to their rotation could be what this German club needs to earn its first victory.
