MLB Betting: Braves vs Dodgers & Brewers vs Blue Jays – 06/26/22

In today’s MLB betting guide, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves look to take their series, while the Toronto Blue Jays look for a better outing against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Atlanta Braves (-105) vs Los Angeles Dodgers (-115)

The Dodgers have really dominated when Tony Gonsolin has been on the mound as he’s 9-0 in 13 starts. He never goes very deep into games, pitching six innings max right now, but the team always seems to have a lead by the time he gives up the mound to a strong relief group. It’s not the most favourable matchup for him, but he has not given up more than two runs all season in a start. The Dodgers are 7-3 in their last 10 games and are looking to bounce back from a loss in Game 2 of the series with the Braves.

The Braves have Spencer Strider on the mound today as he has now started five games this season after switching over from the bullpen. In two of those starts, he has blown up for five-plus runs while pitching very well in the others. Even without Mookie Betts in the lineup for the Dodgers, it’s a very tough lineup to face for Strider. The Braves are still a strong team but are more banged up in regards to their stars than the Dodgers. Take the Dodgers to continue to win with Gonsolin on the mound and the under to hit (U8.5, -105) as it has in the first two games between the teams.

Milwaukee Brewers (+120) vs Toronto Blue Jays (-145)

The Blue Jays went up against the Brewers’ best pitcher in yesterday’s game and were only able to get to him a little as the game went on. Fortunately for the Blue Jays, they have a much easier matchup today against Chi Chi Gonzalez who has just appeared in one game this season and it wasn’t the best. He doesn’t have a good track record either as his career ERA (earned run average) is 5.71.

The Blue Jays bats are hot right now, and as deep as they are offensively, that spells success. Jose Berrios takes the mound for the Blue Jays after a start to forget in his last appearance. He will pitch a few great games and then get lit up, but since he got his bad start out of the way in the previous outing, he should be able to bounce back as he has. Regardless, the Brewers have below-average offense and average pitching this season in total, so the Blue Jays are primed for a bounce back. The Blue Jays have more wins on the road than the Brewers have at home as the teams are very similar in the standings. Take the Blue Jays in this one as the over (O9, -120).
