NHL Betting: Rangers vs Hurricanes Game 4 Prop Bets – 05/24/2022

The Carolina Hurricanes aim to take a commanding series lead heading into Game 4. They fell short in Game 3, dropping a 3-1 decision to the New York Rangers. The Rangers registered more than one goal for the first time this series and will aim to even things up in front of their home crowd. This is where you’ll find everything, including team win odds, the over/under, and point spreads.

Artemi Panarin, Anytime Goalscorer (+230)

After star players Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider got on the board in Game 3, only Artemi Panarin remains of the big three to not register a goal. After registering seven points in the opening round, Panarin has just one assist to his name against the Hurricanes. His ice time was reduced significantly in Game 3 by over five minutes, and it appears to have worked as the star forward looked dominant compared to Game 2.

Panarin is a big-time player who shows up for moments, and Game 4 is a good example of a time for him to arrive. He redeemed himself in Game 7 against the Pittsburgh Penguins, scoring the overtime winner to send the Rangers to the second round. Now, all eyes are on him to help his team once again, this time to send the series back to Carolina all tied up. The return is excellent on this one, so consider putting some cash on it if you have some to spare.

Adam Fox – Player Points (Over 0.5, -160)

With one assist in Game 3, Adam Fox has 11 points in 10 playoff games and is starting to heat up. One area head coach Gerard Gallant aimed to improve was Fox’s ice time. He went from playing 22-26 minutes on 28 shifts to 24 minutes on 33 shifts in Game 3. The shorter shifts helped with fatigue, and Fox appeared to look revitalized. Despite having just one assist to his name, he’s looked excellent every time his skates hit the ice.

The Hurricanes play Fox pretty tightly, as evidenced by his two assists in four regular-season games this year. Fortunately for Rangers fans, he isn’t the player to be kept at the perimeter for too long. Like a shark that smells blood, once Fox gets going, there’s no stopping him. He has a game-breaking ability and can take over a game at any point. Be sure to watch out for him every time the puck is on his stick.

Sebastian Aho – Player Power Play Points (Over 0.5, +215)

One player the Hurricanes are getting the most out of is Sebastian Aho, who currently has three points in this series. In a defensively-sound series, having two of his team’s five goals is outstanding. He’s averaging over 18 minutes of ice time and has registered seven shots on net. He’s a danger whenever the puck is on his stick, and his transition game in the neutral zone is as good as it was in the regular season.

The Hurricanes have yet to register a power-play goal against the Rangers but have one shorthanded goal. Aho is the type who can get the ball rolling, with 28 of his 81 points in the regular season coming on the man advantage. He’s been one of the hottest Hurricanes players this postseason, and the team will rely on him to help carry the offense. If the Hurricanes can get on a few power plays early into Game 4, look for Aho to get his team on the board.
