NHL Betting: Flames vs Oilers Player Props – Hyman, Draisaitl, Gaudreau – 05/26/22

The best player props for the Game 5 matchup between the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers as the series heads to Calgary with the Oilers leading 3-1.

Zach Hyman – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+240)

Zach Hyman is who nobody is really talking about from this series even though he has had a huge impact at both ends of the ice. He has scored in each of the four games for a total of five goals. He’s doing so on the second line and adding some scoring depth to a team that has dominated by loading up the first line.

Hyman has had the Jacob Markstrom and the Flames’ number in this series as his speed and work down below the net is too much for them to keep up with. He is on the power play that has finally started to show up in Round 2, so that adds to the likelihood of him scoring in his fifth consecutive game. His value is also too good to not take a chance on.

Leon Draisatil – Points (Over 1.5, +130)

Leon Draisaitl is the first player in NHL history to record three-plus points in four consecutive games. That streak started from Game 1 of this Round 2 series against the Flames. He is up to 22 points in 11 games and second in playoff scoring behind Connor McDavid. Luckily for anyone betting this, Draisaitl only has to get two points for this bet to hit despite the line he plays on and the tear he’s been on. It is also good odds for a player scoring at a pace of two points per game on a goaltender that has allowed way too many goals each game of this series.

Johnny Gaudreau – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+145)

Johnny Gaudreau has been invisible in the past two games after recording five assists in the first two games of the series. He hasn’t scored a playoff goal since Game 7 against the Dallas Stars and only has two in 11 games.

Count on fortunes to change tonight as the Flames are in do-or-die mode back in their home arena. He scored 40 goals during the regular season and his linemates are more than capable of feeding him the puck. If they can get going, expect Gaudreau to hit the scoresheet again in this game.
