Positional Breakdown
Forwards/Midfielders

We've got a pretty open six-game slate on Sunday, and there are several viable routes to take when building your lineup.

Let's start where we almost always start -- Manchester City. An away matchup at West Ham is a tough one, but City just had a tough away game at Wolves midweek and won 5-0. I don't think I'll stack City as much as I usually do, but I absolutely want exposure to them.

Kevin De Bruyne ($22) continued his insane run of form with four goals in a sparkling display at Wolves. He'll surely be one of the slate's most popular plays, and when he's scoring goals like he has been on top of creating chances and getting assists, he's simply the best asset in EPL DFS. But City have several enticing pivots, with my favorite options being Riyad Mahrez ($19) and Phil Foden ($18). Mahrez will likely be on penalties if he starts.

Outside of City, Leicester (at Watford) and Wolves (home against Norwich) are the sides in the best spots, with both facing a team that's already been relegated.

Wolves haven't been in great form overall in the second half of the year, but Norwich are the best matchup imaginable. The Canaries have permitted the most goals and the most expected goals (xG), per FBRef. Norwich have shipped mutilple goals in five straight games, including three-plus goals in four of the matches.

Raul Jimenez ($17) should start up top for Wolves. He has just one goal over Wolves' past 11 games, but he can crush it in this matchup. I will be all over Hwang Hee-Chan ($13) if he starts. He'd be one of the best point-per-dollar plays on the slate in my eyes. Pedro Neto ($14) is another modest-salaried Wolves attacker who I'll be super into if he starts.

As for Leicester, they just rolled Norwich 3-0 and can do the same to Watford. The only negative with the Foxes is that their top options -- Jamie Vardy ($20), James Maddison ($17). and Youri Tielemans ($16) -- are all salaried up. That puts Harvey Barnes ($13) and Ademola Lookman ($12) on my radar, both of whom offer big-time upside at low salaries.

My priorities on the rest of the slate are Ollie Watkins ($17) and Danny Ings ($15) from Villa, Brighton's Leandro Trossard ($16). and Everton's Richarlison ($17).

Defenders

Per usual, I'm looking for lower-salary options at defender, so I can get the attackers I want. I will say this, though -- there are enough good value plays in forward spots that it's not a bad slate to go after high-upside, high-salary full-backs.

West Ham's Craig Dawson ($10) and Kurt Zouma ($11) stand out as high-floor center-backs at modest salaries. West Ham's back-line will be active Sunday versus City. Dawson totaled 18.2 FanDuel points (from solely defensive work) at Chelsea in the Hammers' last match with an elite side. He's an excellent play.

Watford's and Leeds' center-backs have appeal, too, as they're busy nearly every time out. Craig Cathcart ($9), Adam Masina ($7). and Jeremy Ngakia ($7) are listed as likely starters for the Hornets. Liam Cooper ($11) is averaging 13.9 FanDuel points per game for the season for Leeds and has scored at least 15.6 points in four straight.

As far as high-upside full-backs, Lucas Digne ($12) and Joao Cancelo ($15) fit the bill. Digne should have chances to get forward against Palace and has scored at least 15.9 FanDuel points in four straight. He's an outstanding play if you have salary to spend at defender. Cancelo hasn't maintained his lights-out form from early in the season, but he spends as much time in attacking areas as any full-back in the league.

Johnny ($10) offers some attacking juice for Wolves against the Canaries.

Goalies

Draft percentages should be fairly spread out at keeper as we have several quality options.

Jose Sa ($13) got a bump in salary, and it's justified with Wolves in a dream matchup against Norwich. I think it's likely he and Kasper Schmeichel ($12) are the chalk goalies. Schmeichel gets a struggling Watford attack and is coming off a massive outing in which he made five saves in a clean-sheet win en route to 32.0 FanDuel points.

Illan Meslier ($10) isn't a bad low-salary dart throw. Leeds have it in them to give up chances, and Brighton usually create plenty for themselves. That gives Meslier a good floor due to save volume, and with Leeds desperately needing a result, they'll be doing everything in their power to keep Brighton from getting a goal.

Lukasz Fabianski ($6) has the worst matchup possible against City, but it's a matchup that ensures he'll be busy. And West Ham's defense is fairly solid, so if they can limit the damage to a goal or two, Fabianski could wind up producing a decent output at this close-to-the-minimum salary.
