UEFA Nations League Betting: BEL vs POL & IRL vs UKR – 06/08/22

Today’s action features Groups A4 and B1, and some teams could clinch a top-two spot with a victory today. The Netherlands and Poland sit on three points apiece, and securing another win will bring them to six points. Ukraine and Scotland play their first game of the tournament, while Belgium and the Republic of Ireland hope for a bounce-back result. This is the place to find everything, including team win odds, the over/under, and point spreads.

Moneyline: Poland @ +475

Poland head coach Czesław Michniewicz is likely to shuffle his rotation after earning their first victory of the tournament. The club brought a total of 38 players, so he’ll probably want to see different variations of his team during Group Stage play. They controlled the ball 53% of the time during their match against Wales, and they’ll hope for better control today. They’ll need to be more disciplined against a hungry Belgium group as they committed 15 fouls in their opening game.

Belgium is coming off a crushing defeat at the hands of the Netherlands. They conceded four goals and were outclassed by a well-prepared Dutch club. One promising sign they can pull from is their 51% possession rate, which is astounding against a team like the Netherlands, which loves controlling the play.

Carrying on momentum, Poland should squeak out a win, but they’re heavy underdogs against a Belgian squad that hasn’t failed to score a goal in their last 45 games.

Prop Bet: Goals Over/Under (Under 2.5, +100)

This one has the makings to be a purely-defensive matchup between two clubs attempting to establish positioning in the standings. Belgium can’t afford to take another loss, while Poland must remain vigilant with its structure to dig its claws into the first two spots. Expect a low-scoring result from this one, as the ball possession is expected to go back and forth.

Moneyline: Ukraine @ +200

Ukraine is coming off a devastating World Cup Final loss to Wales last Sunday, and it’s going to take some time to overcome. The boys in blue and yellow did everything they could but failed to capitalize on their opportunities. Head coach Oleksandr Petrakov may opt to rest some of his key players to get them rest. The Republic of Ireland is the slight favourite despite an unexpected loss to Armenia in their opening game.

If you’re feeling risky today, consider putting some loose change on Ukraine for the upset. They’re not expected to do much in a Group stage with superior opponents, but they’ve managed to come up big before. Two players to look out for are Will Keane and Michael Obafemi, who will both push for a chance to play. Even with some changes, their team play is promising enough to give them a fighting chance.
