Brentford vs. Everton

Brentford to win +105

Everton are coming off a dreadful season where they finished 11W-6D-21L and ended just four points above the relegation zone. On top of that, their away record was a horrendous 2-4-13 with a -25 goal differential.

This season has not been much kinder to Everton thus far. The Toffees are off to an 0-1-2 start that includes a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa in their only away fixture.

Brentford finished seven points ahead of Everton last season, and they are off to a decent 1-1-1 start this year, including a 4-0 win over Manchester United in their only home game thus far. Brentford have also scored at least twice in every game so far this season. They should have a good chance to win this game, as they are the better side and have home-field advantage.

Brighton vs. Leeds

Draw +270

Brighton led the EPL in draws last season with 15. They finished the year 12-15-11 with a -2 goal differential, making them about as average of a team as there could possibly be.

Leeds went 9-11-18 last campaign, barely finishing above the relegation zone, but they are off to a much better start this season under Jesse Marsch. The American has led Leeds to a 2-1-0 start, including a 3-0 win at home against Chelsea last week. Leeds tied their only away game thus far against Southampton, and they finished last year with 11 draws.

This figures to be an evenly matched game between a much improved Leeds team and a solid Brighton side. A draw at almost 3-1 odds is worth a look.

Wolves vs. Newcastle

Newcastle to win +165

Newcastle have been a much improved side since the midway point of last season, and they have carried their hot finish to 2021-22 into this year.

The Magpies have started 1-2-0 this year. While that's not overly impressive, it is quite good considering they are coming off a crazy 3-3 draw against Manchester City last weekend. Newcastle also defeated Nottingham Forest, 2-0, while outshooting them 10-0 in shots on target, and they drew 0-0 away to Brighton.

Wolves have not gotten off to a good start this season, sitting at 0-1-2 with losses to Leeds and Tottenham and a draw to Fulham sandwiched in between. They have looked less than impressive to say the least, and Newcastle will be hungry after just barely missing out on an exciting win over City.

The Magpies are the better side and have a great chance to come out on top in this matchup.
