Brighton vs. Newcastle

Draw +220

This game features an exciting matchup between an up-and-coming Newcastle team and a Brighton squad that finished in a respectable ninth place last season.

Brighton started this campaign well with a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford. Newcastle started the season off strongly, as well, with a dominant 2-0 win over newly promoted Nottingham Forest. Newcastle outshot Forest 23-5 on all shots and 10-0 in shots on target.

The Magpies finished about even with Brighton last season (two points behind) and both teams had a combined 25 draws last year, with Brighton leading the EPL in draws.

This should be a nip-and-tuck affair, and I think they'll share the points.

Wolves vs. Fulham

Wolves to win +135

Fulham’s opening match went much better than Wolves’ did, as Fulham drew 2-2 at home against Liverpool, while Wolves lost 2-1 away to Leeds. However, one result shouldn’t change the overall season expectations, and Wolves should still be expecting to get three points in this match.

Wolves finished last season 15W-6D-17L, good enough for 10th place, while Fulham are newly promoted from the Championship. Season expectations for Fulham are still very low, as they have the third-best odds to finish in last place (+650), even after their draw against Liverpool.

Wolves are a proven EPL side, and they are more than capable of winning home games against the bottom-tier teams in the league.

Nottingham Forest vs. West Ham

West Ham to win -125

Nottingham Forest finished in fourth place in the Championship last season and then snuck into the EPL via the playoff. They have all the makings for a prime candidate to be the worst team in the league this campaign, and they started off on the track to achieve that with a 2-0 loss to Newcastle in which they put zero shots on target to Newcastle's 10.

West Ham did not fair much better in their opener, also losing 2-0, but at least they have the excuse of going up against City, the clear title favorites. The Hammers also had a strong season last year, finishing in seventh place.

The Hammers went 6-2-0 against the bottom-four teams in the league last season, including 3-1-0 away from home. They should take care of business against a Forest side that figures to be in a year-long fight to stay up.
