NHL Betting: Bruins vs Hurricanes Game 7 Player Props – 05/14/2022

Game 7 is what every hockey fan hopes for and every player dreams about. Big performances in Game 7 can solidify a player’s legacy, with their home fans and beyond. This betting guide will give some suggestions for player props from skaters who might come through in the final game of the series between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes.

Vincent Trocheck Points (Over 0.5, -110)

Vincent Trocheck has been one of Carolina’s most active players this series. He’s been even better at home. Trocheck has three goals and four assists in the series, and all but one of the goals have come at home. His line has been a thorn in Boston’s side for six-game, and there is little reason to believe they won’t be flying around in Game 7.

Trocheck didn’t score a point in Game 4 or Game 6 of this series, but sandwiched in between those two games in Boston was a home game where he scored three points. Trocheck and linemate Teuvo Teravainen have been different players in this series in front of their home fans, and getting close to even money (-110) for Trocheck to continue is a pretty good value play for Game 7.

David Pastrnak Shots (Over 4.5, -115)

This is a lofty number for a shot total, but David Pastrnak is a guy that can hit it. He’s failed to score a point in any of the games in Carolina, and the Hurricanes will probably work to make sure that trend continues. However, he’s been very active in getting shots on target for the entire series.

Pastrnak has failed to hit at least five shots just once in this series, and he’s averaging 6.3 shots on goal per game in three road contests in Carolina. Also, it’s Game 7. That means Boston’s going to have its big guns on the ice for extended minutes trying to advance. This number could be a bit better, but it’s close enough to even money (-115) to take a serious look at, because Pastrnak is going to be heavily involved in the offense.

Seth Jarvis Points (Over 0.5, +100)

Seth Jarvis is one rookie who hasn’t looked too rattled in his first postseason. He’s scored three goals and two assists in the six games, and all of his goals have come at home. In the last game in Carolina, Jarvis scored a pair of goals on a whopping eight shots on goal. It was his third multi-goal game of the year.

Jarvis has logged some good minutes in the series while playing on the top line and should be just as active in this one. He’s been solid at home all series and has been involved physically, too. Jarvis has 14 hits over the last four games, and those contests account for four of his five highest hit totals of the season. That shows he’s involved, and he’ll continue to contribute on the scoreboard, too. This is a good line (+100) for him to get at least a point in Game 7.
