Daily Fantasy lineups that were heavy on Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames were in great shape, and many will be leaning heavily on that series again for today’s lineups. But there’s value to be found in both games, and this betting guide will offer some guidance to finding a few inexpensive options to round out your DFS plays for today’s Game 2s.
Kailer Yamamoto, Edmonton Oilers
Kailer Yamamoto had a goal and assist in the high-flying Game 1 against the flames, and his price on some platforms didn’t even move. If that opening game was any indication, the goals should be flying throughout this series. Yamamoto now has two goals and three assists in the playoffs, and three of those points have come in his last two games.

At Yamamoto’s bargain price, he should be in every lineup. Playing with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl means less attention from defenses and an incredible opportunity to pick up points. The salary will adjust across all platforms for Yamamoto, especially if the series continues anywhere close to its ridiculous scoring pace.
Seth Jarvis, Carolina Hurricanes
Points were more difficult to come by in the Hurricanes-Rangers series opener, but Carolina center Seth Jarvis still managed to have a solid performance. He assisted on the winner in overtime and also managed three shots on goal. His minutes are going up, and the rookie is getting more and more comfortable as he progresses through his first postseason.
His contract across most platforms has remained very affordable throughout the postseason, and he’s just two points away from being Carolina’s leading scorer in the playoffs. He’s gaining confidence, too. Jarvis has had at least three shots on goal in four of his eight playoff games, but they’ve all come in the last five contests. His production is turning up and his price is staying low. Take advantage.
Andrew Mangiapane, Calgary Flames
Andrew Mangiapane had a goal and two assists in Game 1 and piled up seven shots. That’s a big day for anybody, but it’s enormous for his price in daily fantasy. Mangiapane had just two points in the first round, but goals were much more scarce. The Flames scored 15 goals in their seven games against the Los Angeles Kings in the first round. They had nine on Wednesday.

It doesn’t look like Calgary is going to slow down, either. The Flames rattled off 48 shots on goal in the second-round opener, which marked the sixth-straight game Calgary had at least 32 shots. His price has ticked up a bit across almost all platforms, but Mangiapane is still modestly priced. The higher salary makes it tougher, but there still should be room for him in lineups for Game 2.
