In the meantime, let's examine where smart money is leaning for today's NFL Week 13 slate.
4:25 p.m. ET: San Francisco 49ers (-3, 47.5) at Philadelphia Eagles
The 49ers (8-3) have won three straight games and just brushed aside the Seahawks 31-13, covering as 7-point road favorites. Meanwhile, the Eagles (10-1) have won five straight games and just outlasted the Bills 37-34 in overtime, pushing as 3-point home favorites. This game opened at roughly a pick'em. The public is riding the red-hot Eagles at home. However, despite 60% taking Philadelphia, we've seen this line flip to 49ers -3. Essentially, we are seeing sharp "pick'em to favorite" line movement on San Francisco. The 49ers are receiving 40% of bets but 55% of money, further evidence of smart money backing the contrarian favorite and fading the trendy dog Eagles. San Francisco enjoys a notable "rest vs tired" advantage, as the 49ers last played last Thursday on Thanksgiving while the Eagles played an overtime game on Sunday. Those looking to back the sharp 49ers move but wary of laying points and pushing -3 could instead target San Francisco on the moneyline at -155. Pros have also leaned over, as the total has risen from 45.5 to 47.5.
