NHL Betting: Rangers vs Penguins Player Props – Zibanejad, Fox, Guentzel – 05/15/22

The best player props for the Game 7 matchup between the New York Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins as the series shifts back to NY with the teams tied 3-3.

Mika Zibanejad – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+140)

Mika Zibanejad finally arrived in a big Game 6 scoring his first two goals of the series. He also almost potted a third for a hat trick but hit the post. He only scored 29 goals during the regular season but is a known goal-scorer and can get very hot at times.

His linemates have had good series, so he was bound to find the scoresheet in the goal department as well. Both Chris Kreider and Frank Vatrano have been putting pucks in the back of the net so the pressure of scoring has been off Zibanejad a bit. The Rangers have figured out Louis Domingue, so expect a bunch of goals if Tristan Jarry isn’t back for the Penguins.

Adam Fox – Points (Over 0.5, -154) & Assists (Over 0.5, -115)

Adam Fox has continued his stellar playoff performance recording at least a point in each game of the series thus far. He has three goals and six assists, but four of those assists came in Game 6 in another must-win game. He has been the most consistent player and scorer for the team and continued to hit the prop bets we’ve predicted here. Don’t expect him to get four assists, but it is very likely he will add to his playoff totals for the seventh consecutive game in this series.

Jake Guentzel – Anytime Goal-Scorer (+130)

Game 6 was the only game in this series that Jake Guentzel didn’t score a goal. That is likely because the Penguins were without Sidney Crosby who has been setting Guentzel up for most of his goals. Crosby may return for Game 7 so that would automatically boost the production of his favourite linemate Guentzel.

With seven goals in six games in the series, he is a known playoff performer and will show up in a do-or-die Game 7. Even without Crosby, this is good value for Guentzel who has scored a goal in each of the first five games of the series and with Igor Shesterkin allowing at least three goals a game for five games as well.
